Let the Journey Begin...

An Act of Obedience

I am the least of these….

That is often my thought when I am considering something new. Like most people I don’t like change, especially when it makes me uncomfortable. Several years ago, I felt the Lord leading me to write a blog. I was surprised and kind of annoyed. Why in world would I write a blog? There are a whole host of gifted and charismatic writers out there already doing it. What do I have to offer? Not much in my opinion, but I have learned my lesson time and again, all God needs is my willing heart to do whatever He asks of me and He takes care of His end.

This post is my act of obedience. This is my willingness to put my pride aside and say, “Alright, here I am putting stuff out there for the world to judge.” Doesn’t sound like my idea of fun, but who knows; maybe it will matter to someone. This may seem like a small step to some, but I promise you the struggle is real. I do not count what I have to offer as great, but what I do have I will share with you.

This blog will mainly consist of my thoughts and reflections on life through the lens of my relationship with God and others. Maybe at times you will laugh, shake your fist and maybe even shed a tear. Overall, I hope it blesses you to walk with me on this journey and maybe encourage you on your own as we grow closer in fellowship with our Creator.

I'm so excited for this! I already know that this is going to touch so many people. You're already such a blessing to the people that you know personally. This is just God reaching his arms out in more directions through you. I LOVE you so very much!
